A 110 kW lightning charger built one minute from the main road 6

SZEKSZÁRD - The newest e-car charging point in Hungary became available on 5 October. It is located in Szekszárd, along the Budapest-Pécs route, 1 minute away from the main road 6 - available around the clock, courtesy of evDirect.

The service was launched in partnership with AutoCity Kft, the largest VW Group car dealership group in Southern Transdanubia.

The new electric car charging point in Hungary was installed in front of the Volkswagen dealership in Szekszárd. The system was installed by evDirect and will be available to electric vehicle users from 5 October.

The new charger can deliver up to 85 kW on a 400-volt system and up to 110 kW on an 800-volt system. The charger can charge two cars simultaneously from the same current using CCS connectors, in which case the power output on both connectors is 55 kW.

To make things even easier for motorists, there is a MOL petrol station open from 5am to 8pm, right next to the filling post, where they can also buy other essentials.

To start charging, you don't need a mobile app, just register on the web and start charging at a low price: 109 HUF/kWh, without per-minute charge.

There is still no need to enter credit card details on evDirect chargers, as the system sends a weekly summary bill. Motorists can settle this with their online bank card or by bank transfer.

In Pécs, another new charging post will be delivered by the end of 2021, and in the first half of 2022, the network will be extended with two more high-capacity charging stations.
